Sometimes, we can find ourselves following well-intended instructions from others without first consulting God. In my case, they weren’t in error—I was. Like Eve, I reasoned with what God had already spoken to me instead of standing firm, even when I didn’t fully understand His plan.
Here’s what I’ve learned: even if you haven’t seen it done before, always check with the Father first. Read His Word. If it aligns with His truth, keep believing. Obedience unlocks revelation—God reveals more of His plan as you walk with Him. It’s okay to not know the ending; the key is following His first instruction.
God will confirm what He has spoken, but that doesn’t mean challenges won’t come. People will question what God has affirmed in your life, but your trust must remain in Him, not in man. Stay rooted in His Word. Draw closer to Him because we need Him more than we realize.
I had to confess, repent, and let God correct my path. Yet, even in my misstep, His covering never left me. He is faithful, even when we falter. Trust Him, follow Him, and watch Him straighten every crooked place.
